JMI has made its application and prospectus available from 17 May 2021 for both UG/PG Courses.
jamia millia islamia university admission 2021-22 is open from 17 May till 10 July. Jamia Millia Islamia takes UG and PG exams separately. The written exam is conducted by the university itself. It offers courses in various streams like engineering, management, law, natural sciences, Humanities, Social Sciences, and many more.
The admission to B.Tech is based on JEE Main conducted by NTA and to BDS admission is conducted through NEET again conducted by NTA.

Important Dates for JMI Application Form
Important Guidelines
- The candidates can fill applications in Online mode Only.
- Registration can only be done to the official JMI portal, links of which are: www.jmicoe.in and www.jmi.ac.in
- There are two phases of online form submission:
a) Registration of candidate: Entry of basic details as name email etc., and
b) Entrance details: Program selection, qualification details, fee payment of exam, etc. - In-between registration, the candidate must have these details readily available:
a) A valid and available email id. JMI will use this email for future communications.
b) Scanned copy of passport size photograph (max-size:100 kb and in JPG/JPEG format)
c) Scanned copy of signature (max-size:100 kb and in JPG/JPEG format) - Before registration, the candidate is required to check his eligibility from the prospectus (I have given the link to the prospectus).
- Only one registration would be sufficient to apply for various university programs. If a candidate submits multiple forms with multiple registrations, his candidature would be canceled.
These were the most important guidelines needed to check before going to the registration link and start registration on JMI website.

- Application Fees can be paid in the mode of Credit Card, Debit Card, or Net-banking.
- Application Fees once received y Jamia Millia Islamia would not be refunded in any case.
- If only, the transaction gets failed and fees received by Jamia Millia Islamia, then only Jamia Millia Islamia will refund the fees.
Jamia Millia Islamia University Admission 2021-22 Application Process
There are two phases in which JMI Application form is filled
Phase 1:
Step-1: Goto jmicoe.in
Scroll down below and click on “Click here to apply for UG/PG/BTECH/BARCH/ DIP/ADP/PGD(session 2021-22)” Available on the left sidebar and on the second number.
Step-2: Click on New Registration.
Step-3: Fill up your basic details and check if the details you filled in are correct. If the details are correct click confirm.
Step-4: You will get a confirmation message of registration on-screen and you now will have to activate your account using email.
Go to your email and check if you have received any email, if not received, do check all the folder like spam, promotions, etc.,
Step-5: Now, go to the registration page again and click “activate your account”
Step-6: Enter your email and OTP received on phone and click activate.
After all the steps, you will get the message as your account activated successfully, and phase 1 of the application process would be complete.
Now Phase 2:
Step-1: Now, go to the registration page again and login to your account from there. After logging in, you will proceed to the dashboard of the Application Portal.
Step-2: Go to my application from the dashboard and select the course type and course you want to pursue.
Click I accept and add course into your dashboard.
Then go to details and fill up all the relevant details needed by JMI for the course you selected
Step-4: After filling up all the details, preview your form and check for any errors, if not, then proceed to make the payment tab from the dashboard and make the payment using your Cards or other payment methods available at that time.
After all these steps, you will get the confirmation message of the successful fillup of the form.
Phase 2 also gets complete here.
Make sure to fill up the form before 30th June 2021, don’t wait till the last day as the site may go down due to traffic on the last day and you won’t get any more chance to fill any form after that.
If you find any error in the form even after the final submit, don’t worry, you will get the chance to edit the forms again between 01st July to 05th July 2021.
The Admit cards will be issued from 15th July onwards and the exams will commence from 26th July 2021.
